Confidentiality

When you come to see me, what you say is confidential. I won't repeat it to anyone. However there are exceptions to confidentiality. If I believe you to be at imminent (immediate) risk of harm from someone else, if I believe you are at imminent risk of harming yourself, if I believe that someone is at imminent risk of harming you, if I suspect child abuse I have a duty of care to break confidentiality. Ideally we will discuss this and come up with a plan together. Rarely, records may be subpoenaed which I am required to comply with.

Contact forms

If you contact me through my contact form, your personal information will be sent to me alone. Your personal information will be stored for as long as required for me to respond to your request. Please know that my email is not a secure service. Please do not send me sensitive information by email. If we decide to begin working together I use a secure service called Jane, to store all your records.
